Hatake KB - Webshop

The baby project of mine that outgrew me, and had to be carried over by others. I created the website in close to a week and it has full b2c, b2b functionality with a built in stock system & is connected to a MTG & Pokemon card database to fill in singles.

Is it worthwhile to engage in the snus-industry?

Snus, a product that has a wide range of different varieties.
You can never be sure to please another mans snus needs, does he utilise tobacco-free nicotine pouches?
Tobacco pouches? Tobacco with artificial flavoring?

There is just so many different kinds and the supermarkets are poking your eyes with their endless supply of snus.
This is a story my mother wouldn’t like me to tell, but, snus is the same for me as any other product or merchandise I have ever came across. I encounter something that I like, and, instead of being on the receiving end as a customer I would like to turn the tables around and start importing & supplying others.

If it is something I like, I can approve it and I started sampling nicotine pouches for a while to help me from my tobacco abstinence.
It helped me a lot and it was surprisingly tasty as well.

Immediately I put together a small task-force to help me navigate the treacherous pathways of the internet.
I needed names, email addresses of different people in power of companies that deals in snus.

Within 24 hours I had written 13 mails that I sent out to different sales agents of companies located in these countries:
Poland
Estonia
Germany
Poland
India
Sweden
Denmark
Lithuania
Poland
Germany
China
China
China

Within a couple of days I had received some replies, more often than not they far away from me and I would have to get a very low price to justify those transportation method through sea etc.
But, I got in touch two two polish companies that both wanted to penetrate the Swedish market and I had a video meeting with one gentleman called Mateusz and before the meeting I deep researched the web for documentation about the industry, what was needed to satisfy the regulations of the government, how we would be able to advertise for the nicotine products without actually advertising of them.

I winded up with a 36, or, perhaps 48 paper document that Gemini (Google’s AI) put together from researching how to import and sell tobacco-free snus.

I were able to drop down the price to €1.0 after I made fun of myself by talking about the fact that I have turned so fat I can’t even see my own cock when I take a piss. He stated that he fell in love with my sense of humour and would do me a solid.
It is not DDP shipment, so, I have to take care of customs on this project.

We have to buy 12 000 tins as MOQ, MOQ stands for Minimum Order Quantity and is often used in business inquiries.
So roughly 126 000 + heavy taxation due to the nicotine regulation.
That is roughly 200 000, I can imagine which would increase the cost per tin to 16kr.

This is seriously one of the projects that I am considering the most when we get HatakeSocial/TCG business to roll more autonomously.

Progress is being made :)

I am genuine happy about the entire situation, how we are progressing and together with our associates getting somewhere.
We ordered 200 binders and out of them we have already gotten rid of 150, from end of October till 3 February.
That is 4 months. 150/4=37,5 is the average number of binders sold on a month.

We are getting another batch of top-loader binders tomorrow, on the 4th of February.
The DHL delivery team didn’t notify before ”attempting” delivery last week when my mother was waiting inside of our warehouse, two days in a row but now we learned from our Chinese partners that you are supposed to call them to schedule an appointment where they drop off your shipment at a given time.

Lessons are learned.
This was how our October drop-off looked:

In Sweden’s TCG world we have some big fish, one of them are our associate whilst another I have heard rumours of and continously been interested in engaging with. Yesterday our associate (Robin) contacted me and let me know that William of Mindstage (One of the biggest, if not the biggest TCG Stores in Sweden) was interested in purchasing binders from us.

I was told that he has a lot on his plate so he doesn’t respond immediately, but just, just imagine if my small vision of establishing a community in February literally 12 months ago leads us to spread our merchandise brand amongst stores within Sweden.

I am thrilled about these news & so thankful that I have friends and comrades that go out of their way in order to help me chase the dream.

Since October to February, we, and with we I mean mainly my mother with a tiny bit of support from me have done over 100 successful transactions with 100% good reviews on Tradera which is the Swedish version of Ebay/Amazon.
On the 7th to 8th of March we are exhibiting at a convention on ”Sveriges Pokemon Mässa” that expects 100’s if not, a thousand visitors and I am doing my best to pull some weight in order for our team to succeed.

I put together a booking of 4 tables, the plan is, although it is a Pokemon convention to have:
1. Magic: The Gathering table.
1. Merchandise Table.
1. Pokemon Table.
1. Table for our Guest Star; Hampus Johansson.
I was thinking of decorating the tables (all of them) with PetDragon x Hatake playmats, putting up some stands for our digital Magic prints which we have 2, 1 x Stoneforge Mystic, 1 x Hallowed Fountain signed by their artists and a third that we are buying tomorrow.

Then we have a booster dispenser with our logo on, I ordered 60 Journey Together Pokemon Boosters to fill it up with.
They should arrive tomorrow, then I ordered 12 960 card counts card-board boxes to fill up with bulk, holos, rares Pokemon cards as they sold very well on SweCard.

There will be an additional convention in May, so, we can utilise this as a practice round to get everything put together.
It is only our 2nd convention after all :)

1 Year since Hatake was born.

In February 2025 me and my partner Mark Jensen had been running through ideas of how to put together a physical store to bring together a community. To level up my passion from sorting through cards and selling them on SvenskaMagic and we begun researching what was actually needed in order to start up a genuine card-shop business.

The goal was to engage in a local community in a Swedish city in order to accumulate a crowd big enough to make it worthwhile (to not bankrupt us when opening) running the shop.

At that point, we suddenly had a realisation that the proper thing would be start an online business first of all.
From my earlier days I had connections in China that wanted to export their products to Europe and when I conduct a research on the market there weren’t any top-loader binders within Sweden and my friends in Sweden imported them from UK for a hefty amount of 500-700+ crowns.

I talked to my friend that runs a shop in Skåne as well as another associate of mine and we decided that it could be a good start to order:
3 x 480 slots top-loader binders engraved with the Hatake logo,
3 x 130pt top-loaders in a packs of 10,
3 x 35pt top-loaders in packs of 25,
3 x 160+ Deckboxes (Susanoo)
That order allowed us to give out samples to different people within the Trading Card Game communities and put together pre-orders, we hadn’t even registered a company yet but we had a friend of ours that wished to order:
1250 x 35pt top-loader packages
100 x 480 slots top-loader binders
For a hefty sum, all of this was started by me, a nobody with a great ambition that has been assisted every moment along the way by a genuine sincere partner that never lets me down.

I remember before the order of these products went through, I posted on Facebook asking if someone were able to make me a logo and a childhood friend Richard replied and designed us the most amazing logo we ever could have dreamt of.

He also introduced us to a friend of his that is in the same council of SvenskaMagic, Discus that owns petdragon.se and makes really cool Commander Decks (a type of format in Magic: The Gathering) which also was interested in buying products through us.
He genuinely ordered 500 playmats.
He insisted on having our logo on the playmats on as well, so we are able to push advertisement for our brand now.
I am so grateful for him.
This is how his beautiful playmats looks:

All together the order was weighing over 1 tonnes and we are still sellling the last portions of it, it arrived in October 2025 roughly 10 days past the SweCard convention where we were supposed to introduce our products to the Swedish Market and make a grand opening.
How sad….

There is very many people that I need to give shoutouts to, but, the most important ones are
Hampus 214 Bergqvist
Daniel Discus Alström @ Petdragon.se
and my mother Patricia Andersson alongside her, her partner Göran Andersson for making a duo.

Mark you get enough credit as it is, haha, sorry I am just joking your great bro thanks a lot for everything.
